Carly Dubois Hosted a Bake Sale for Hospice

Carly Dubois, a 12 year old in grade 7 at Marymount Academy, held a bake sale at the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre to raise money for the Sudbury Hospice. She put together a table with all kinds of goodies from cookies to handmade bracelets. Carly felt that it was important to do something in memory of her Gampy and to give back to the Hospice for taking such good care of her grandfather. Jennifer Grooms, Marketing Coordinator and Léo Therrien, Executive Director were given a baggie full of money totalling $701. It is with the help of individuals like Carly that the Hospice continues to provide quality care for individuals facing end-of-life.
